MORE ABOUT THE FALL OF A KING
"The Fall of a King" is the story of struggle for power in the Animal Kingdom. The play could be interpreted as an Africanized version of George Orwell's "Animal Farm": a political satire using Africa's folks story to adress Nigeria's present political struggle.
MORE ABOUT NBARINBAJO COMMUNITY ART CENTRE
NbariNbajo Art Centre was founded in 2014 by community organizer and dancer Ayodeji Adewale to create a lasting solution to address juvenile delinquency. Over the years, the Centre actively engaged the children from the Bariga Community through Art, thus becoming a recognized platform for youth empowerment. In 2019, the Centre took care of more than 50 kids, providing a variety of activities ranging from dance classes, to drumming workshops, music, drama or craft trainings. In August 2020, NbariNbajo Art Centre had to close after receiving an order of eviction. It is now operating from a small temporary studio space, waiting to relocate in a better equipped environment.
