Description

The Neighborhood Preservation Center (NPC) is pleased to announce our next collaborative event with the Association for Preservation Technology, Northeast Chapter (APTNE). Join us May 30th at the NPC to socialize with your fellow local preservationists featuring a presentation and conversation curated by Mary Kay Judy, architectural conservator and
preservation consultant, on contemporary artists unconventional engagement with historic preservation practice.Mary Kay will be joined by Amanda Topaz, former aerial artist, and Lucinda Grange, an urban explorer adventure photographer.

Amanda Topaz is a former aerial artist, producer and architectural historian who has performed internationally from a multitude of exceptional historic ceilings including Cipriani, the New York Public Library, and Capitale in New York City, Mellon Auditorium, Washington DC, Coliseu dos Recreios, Lisbon and the Detroit Institute of the Arts.

Lucinda Grange is an award winning English adventure photographer, who has traveled the world, scaling some of the tallest and most iconic structuresand buildings in the world. Her climbs include the Great Pyramid, Firth of Forth Rail Bridge, Notre Dame and the Chrysler Building among many others.

The presentation will be followed by light refreshments and networking amongst attendees.
