In 2013 over 50 people lost their lives while working on Aerial Work Platforms. The danger of these machines is very real, and accidents happen quickly on them. Prior to ever using an aerial work platform each employee should be trained and certified as an operator, and every 3 years after the initial training. Our open enrollment Aerial Work Platform Training covers all of the following topics with a hands-on skill assessment following the classroom portion. Topics include:
- Types of Aerial Lifts
- Aerial Lifts Training Requirements
- Operator Responsibility
- Pre-Operation Inspection
- Workplace Inspection
- Operator Warnings and Instructions
- Personal Protective Equipment
- The purpose, use and location of manuals
- Pre-start inspection of the AWP
- Factors affecting stability
- Safety rules and regulations
- And much more!
Our trainers aim to ensure your employees understand and grasp the training presented. We take time to answer their questions, review the material prior to testing, and we review the completed tests with the class. We combine several videos as well as equipment practice, and skills assessments. We offer open enrollment training at our permanent training facility located in Cincinnati Ohio every week day, Monday through Friday. We also enjoy traveling to your project, facility, or training center. This program consists of formal classroom instruction and practical hands-on operation. Upon successful completion of training, students will receive a wallet card and certificate. Contact us today by dialing 877-209-9648 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
