Stephen Moore, editorial board member and senior economics writer for the Wall Street Journal, will lead a panel discussion in a lively debate on America's energy future.

With vast energy resources and advances in technology to unlock them, America has the potential to lead the world in energy production and spark a reviatlization of the manufacturing industry.

Meanwhile, policies in Washington that subsidize polticially favored forms of energy coupled with excessive regulations are putting energy producers out of business and increasing the cost of the energy we use to keep America moving forward.

Will our government continue down its current path or will Washington chart a new course, guided by free market principles?

American Energy Alliance

The American Energy Alliance (AEA) is a non-profit advocacy organization whose mission is to enlist and empower energy consumers to encourage policymakers to support free market policies. These policies lead to abundant, affordable, and reliable energy for all Americans.

Free markets will provide the United States with affordable, plentiful, and reliable energy. Energy consumers, not bureaucrats, should decide the mix between various sources of energy. The tax code should not be used to pick energy winners and losers. Lastly, markets not mandates, result in lower energy prices and more abundant energy for all Americans.
