Event description

Description

The Women's Fund is committed to building a community where all women and girls are economically empowered. As a part of that focus, we commissioned a groundbreaking research report on the gender and racial wealth gap that showed us when compared to single men:

  • Single Black women own 2 cents to the dollar
  • Single Latina women own 8 cents to the dollar
  • All single women own 40 cents to the dollar

To close this gender and racial wealth gap, we must raise awareness on what policies are needed to support all women and girls thriving. Participants will have the option to join one of two issue tracks during this event to allow for specific, action-oriented training:

Speakers: The Ohio Women's Public Policy Network, PL+US, Policy Matters Ohio, The Women's Fund of Central Ohio

Location: The Women's Fund of Central Ohio, 2323 W 5th Avenue Columbus, Ohio 43204
