SCAA ADVOCACY & EMPOWERMENT SESSION #1

JOIN US !! Hear from Kimble Torres & Ylan Hunt for a Workshop for Resources on Financial, Personal Care and Disabled Services.

The AEP will be an in depth workshop on helping SCD community find resources within their county to increase their daily quality of life and financial assistance. Workshop will teach you to find these readily available resources and understand the documents given when you apply so you can apply and receive aid successfully. Workshop will explain to you what the resources/orca/programs are and what they can help SCD people with.

Some Examples are:

• In Home Care service
• Genetic Handicap Person Program
• Sickle Cell Disease Association of America
• Supplement
• SCAASF client Assistance for financial hardship
• Medi-Cal enrollment

Sickle Cell Anemia Awareness (SCAASF) will host the first webinar of the 9 month program. We are certain this will be quite informative.
