Event description
Join us as Dr. Aaron Mauck explains major trends reshaping service line economics and details four new imperatives for service line growth.

About this Event

Many hospitals and health systems depend on traditional service lines to fuel growth. But as the economics of care change and providers face a host of new competitors, today’s approaches to service line planning—which are often passive in nature—are no longer sufficient. Leaders must develop comprehensive service line strategies in which they actively compete for volumes to grow market share. As a result, organizations need to modernize service line prioritization, design programs around patient needs and preferences, sharpen patient acquisition, and invest in patient retention.

This presentation explains the major trends reshaping service line economics—which include population demographics, the outpatient shift, site-neutral payments, and procedural steerage—and details the four new imperatives for service line growth.

Attendees will learn how providers:

  • Address major trends driving organizations to modernize service line strategy
  • Evaluate growth opportunities using new market analytics
  • Design patient-centered services to appeal to consumers
  • Improve patient acquisition efforts to attract new consumers
  • Cultivate system-wide loyalty to win repeat business
