Adventures with Loose Parts

Come explore the outdoors and the possibilities large loose parts offer us to expand play in adventurous ways. Participants will experience loose parts play first hand and dialogue around how to incorporate documentation into the outdoors and possibilities for project work with loose parts.

Please Note: Participants will need to sign liability waivers once registered. This is an outdoor event that will run rain or shine so please dress appropriately for the weather. Detailed map of location will be emailed to participants.

Christina Pickles has been an environmental educator for 20 years and has worked in wetlands, badlands, forests, streams and streets with all ages. she is the leader for the Get Outside and Play Early Childhood Network in Alberta and has shifted her focus to the importance of connecting children and adults with the natural world through play. She lives along the banks of the Bow River with her family.
