Advancing Diversity Equity and Inclusion - How Accessible, Are You?

About this event

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) - Mid-Atlantic Region

The OFCCP enforces the nondiscrimination and affirmative action obligations of federal contractors and subcontractors. It is unlawful for those doing business with the federal government to discriminate against applicants and workers based on their disability status.

Please join OFCCP as we host this virtual event for Individuals with Disabilities. Learn about what is required under Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Outreach and Positive Recruitment, Self-Identification, and Utilization Goals.

Also, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission will provide information under the Americans with Disabilities Act and hear from some of our community-based organizations to assist you with your outreach and recruitment efforts.

We will highlight and cap our event with our keynote addressing "How Accessible Are You and How Artificial Intelligence Impacting Applicants and Employees" from the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP)

Who should attend: Federal Contractors (Companies) who are subject to OFCCP and EEOC regulations within the Mid-Atlantic Region (PA, DE, VA, MD, DC, and WV).
