Advanced Manufacturing in Agriculture Regional Advisory

About this Event

Event Information

The greater Sacramento Region needs a robust pipeline of highly qualified workers to meet labor market demand in our Advanced Manufacturing in Food and Ag Industries. These sectors are a major priority for the region’s economic prosperity strategy. The region is an epicenter for innovation in agricultural advancement. Education and workforce partners are working to support employers and entrepreneurs that are at the forefront of manufacturing established and new food and beverage products and the companies that supply these vital industries.

Join us on Friday, November 22nd, 2019 for a Regional Advisory Meeting focused on Advanced Manufacturing in Food and Ag Industries. You can help build this pipeline by informing education and training providers about the needs of the 21st Century Workforce. Your contribution will help ensure that employers and educators are collaborating to support students in attaining skills and competencies that meet labor market needs for high-skill, high-wage occupations in demand.
