Level 2 Course Syllabus

Level 2 Course Syllabus

  • how to use a hot plate for reworking hashboards in order to apply controlled heat to a specific area of the PCB, which can make it easier to remove and replace components, such as ASIC chips
  • how to diagnose printed circuit board faults and conduct PCB-level repair to save time and money instead of just replacing the entire hashboard
  • how to use an oscilloscope to view and analyze electronic signals in real-time, and to measure voltage and frequency, which can aid in troubleshooting and diagnosing faults
  • advanced chip-level diagnostics training for repairing faults at the component level and to increase the understanding of the inner workings of the hashboard and a deeper knowledge of ASIC chips.

Scott’s Crypto Mining is hosting this Level 2 (Advanced) miner repair course. The course is taught by technicians who are Antminer-certified and Whatsminer-certified.

We are looking to help refine the the skills of existing technicians who are interested in working at a higher level in repair centers, traveling to mining farms or who just want to get better at troubleshooting the miners they are already fixing at their own farm.

Previous experience is required. For this particular Advanced level course, it is a prerequisite that you must already know how to micro-solder.

We WILL NOT be teaching you how to solder in this training class.

Presented by Scott's Crypto Mining and taught by ASIC Ninja in Brookfield, Wisconsin, in this 5-day class, you will learn advanced ASIC miner troubleshooting techniques and Level 2 diagnostics and repair strategies.

All lunches are provided.

On the Tuesday and Thursday nights of the course, we have special hosted outings planned that include activities, food, drinks, networking and team building where you can get to know your fellow classmates and discover the best that Wisconsin has to offer.
