Event description

Description

Every mediation presents challenges, but some cases rise to a higher level of complexity. Multiple parties, diverse legal claims, challenging personalities, insurance limitations, all present a level of complexity requiring special skills.

This full-day training focuses on techniques and strategies to aid the experienced mediator at all stages of the mediation from convening and process design, to negotiation and information sharing, to closing the deal. The training focuses on issues relevant to commercial mediation such as managing attorneys, clients, and experts; tracking multi-party communications; and managing external parties. The training also tackles ethical issues unique to the modern complex case environment.
