  • Manage multiple business initiatives from competing stakeholders
  • Clearly order and express Product Backlog items
  • Define a clear product vision that ensures your product remains focused on the features your customers and end-users will actually use
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholder groups to achieve alignment
  • Identify the crucial opportunities and avoid wasting time
  • Define and validate business value
  • Understanding and working with advanced discovery techniques
  • Understanding and using validation techniques to validate product assumptions
  • Increase your credibility as a product expert and become recognized as a person who delivers real business results

Certification

Upon completion of the course, students will have an active A-CSPO certification as long as the student:

  • Holds an active Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification with the Scrum Alliance.
  • Validates at least 12 months of work experience specific to the role of Product Owner (within the past five years).
  • Successfully completes our A-CSPO course*.

Additionally, this course allows students to claim 14 PMI® Professional Development Units (PDUs)* that can be applied to Project Management Professional (PMP®) and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) certifications.

*Note that students can still attend our A-CSPO course even without the first two requirements above and can complete the CSPO and/or the work experience later to claim their certification.
