Angela Oh Leadership Lab
From meditation to mediation, learn how to build personal capacity and group coalitions to affect change; particularly during high-intensity situations.
Join us as we welcome 2014 Athena Fellow, Angela E. Oh, as she leads a Leadership Lab. An attorney mediator with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, Oh gained national prominence as a mediating force for Korean Americans during the Los Angeles riots. She was subsequently appointed by President Clinton as one of seven Advisory Board Members to the President’s Initiative on Race; charged with engaging the nation in an unprecedented dialogue on race relations in the U.S. She has had a distinguished career, including public lectures and writings, that explore and reflect the opportunities and challenges that diversity presents.
