Monoprinting with Gelli Plates

This workshop explores methods for pulling one-of-a-kind prints called monotypes. Results are unpredictable and exhilarating. Using a brayer, gel plate, and paints, you'll learn the processes for creating patterns, imagery, and layered compositions. We will use found objects and create our own stencils to create designs and patterns. During the class, you will be able to create a simple handmade journal and bookmark using gel prints.
