Description

Students age 15-24 are invited to join us for a series of six free workshops on important life skills needed to succeed in adulthood. All workshops will be held from 6:00-7:30 pm, in the meeting room on the library’s lower level. We regret there is no elevator.

June 5 Personal Finances: Presented by Ashley Fox, Founder & CEO of Empify, Inc.

June 10 Employment: Presented by Heather Sparks, Out-of-School Program Manager at the Free Library of Philadelphia

June 12 Self-Management: Presented by Liz Sutton, Educator and Academic Advisor at the University of Pennsylvania

June 17 Physical Health and Wellness: Presented by Eddie Velazquez, Member of the Camden Youth Advisory Council for The Food Trust; and a Representative from the Mazzoni Center

June 19 Housing: Presented by Sarah Morrison, Housing Resource Developer for Valley Youth House; and Steve Morasco, Former Janitor and Maintenance Worker for the Borough of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania

June 24 Mental Health and Wellness: Presented by Shesheena Bray, Founder of Going Inward Wellness, LLC
