FAQs

What ages are welcome in class?

Tap classes are intended for ages 18+ . Students aged 15-17 may attend class with parent/guardian consent (please contact Lauren to request a permission form). I typically have a wide age range in my classes, with students in their teens up to their 60s!

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the class?

PUBLIC TRANSIT: The Arts & Business Campus is located directly beside the Drumcondra DART station, between the Centra and Quinns Pub. Serviced by Dublin Bus # 1, 11, 13, 16, 33, 41/b/c, and 44.

PARKING: The car park for the Arts & Business Campus is at the back of the building. From Drumcondra Road, turn onto the road between the train station and The Independent Pizza Company. Take the first right. The car park is a few gates down on the right, you'll see signs for Nellys Cafe and other businesses in the building. Parking is free for students.

Do I need my own tap shoes? What should I wear to class?

Students are expected to bring their own tap shoes, a basic pair costs about €30. If you would like to try a few classes before investing in tap shoes, I recommend wearing shoes with a smooth, non-rubbery sole, that has a separate heel and toe (like brogues, not flats). Dress comfortably, you'll work up a sweat! And bring a water bottle!

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Contact dance instructor Lauren by phone at 085-772-7921, or by email at lauren@noisemakers.ie

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please either bring your printed ticket, or have it on your phone.

Can I attend class on a drop-in basis?

Priority entry goes to students purchasing the full course, however drop-ins are welcome when space is available. Drop-in rate is €15 per class, cash only at the door. Feel free to contact Lauren for availability.
