Description


The purpose of this presentation is to bring a greater awareness of the Adult Protective Services role in Illinois and more information/clarity on the reporting of abuse towards adults.

Objectives:

1. This presentation will define the eight different types of abuse, neglect and exploitation including self-neglect.

2. This presentation will define the criteria that must be met to be able to take a report of abuse, neglect and exploitation including self-neglect reports.

3. This presentation will teach participants how to make a report of someone that is being abuse, neglected or exploited as well as if an individual is self-neglecting.


This event is free of charge and offers 2 CEUs for LCSW/LCPC.
