Adult Learners’ Week is about promoting learning opportunities for young or older adults coming back to education or training. It's a great free way to market yourself and your courses.

This free drop-in online webinar during Learning at Work Day on Thurs 17th May looked at how adults learn today and how FE learning can be opened up to a wider range of learners. There were a series of 15-20 minute, stimulating and interactive sessions with contributions from leading practitioners in the sector.

These sessions are offered free of charge and are provided using Blackboard Collaborate (Elluminate V11). Staff wishing to participate in the session will need access to a computer with a web browser, broadband connection and headphones with microphone (please avoid using speakers).

Please be aware that Blackboard Collaborate looks and feels very different to the Elluminate interface that many of our delegates are used to. Whether you are completely new to using these online conferencing systems or you have experience with Elluminate but have never attended a Blackboard Collaborate session, we strongly recommend that delegates should:
