21+ Debate Tournament Series 1st of 5
This is for everyone who ever wanted to debate, people who just can't stop arguing, or debating everything! Or ex debaters who still have that debate bug with no release.
WHO? Novice Debaters: debate for fun! You will only follow the policy or public forum debate format and current topics, winners get trophies. First team to 10 curly W's for the series wins the championship.
NEXT LEVEL: Varsity Debaters are in it for the championship money; these are serious policy debate masters of ole', or not so much. We choose the elite judges of today from the top high schools in the Washington, DC area. They are honored to hear legends like you debate the current policy topic. First place wins $1,000.00 Second Place wins $750.00 and Third Place wins $500.00.
The deal: 2 Rounds per tournament. Tournaments are coupled with fine Indian Cuisine, wine, spirits, and entertainment. Not to mention a great networking opportunity for everyone. No current college deabters are allowed, and you don't even need to be a former debater. High School debaters will spectate during the rounds only. Then they will go home. Judges will be vetted. You can use paper or paperless debate. Cases can be ripped from our website adultdebate.com or you can come up with your own cases!
