Description

**Special 6 week session for November-December for $60!** Class dates are: 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/30, 12/7 & 12/14 (no class on Thanksgiving).

Learn to make functional pottery for home. All skill levels are welcome! Adult Ceramics meets from 6:30-8:30 pm on Thursdays at ARTspace Annex, 217 Fifth St. in downtown Hollister and is taught by professional teaching artist, Christina Morris. Christina will provide instruction in clay processes covering hand-building methods and glazing.

Materials provided: All tools will be provided to handbuild in clay.
Materials fee: $20 for 25 pound bag of clay, and glazing materials.

Your $60 monthly registration fee includes classes for one month and some of the materials.

More about Christina Morris- Christina Morris is a ceramic artist, sculptor, jewelry fabricator and painter. She has a baccalaureate degree in teaching and coaching persons with disabilities with special training in Arts Education and 3-Dimensional artwork. She has exhibited her work throughout the Santa Cruz and San Francisco Bay areas, receiving awards in juried shows. Some of her work is on permanent display at Google, Inc. Christina was the Art Committee Manager at Google for 2 years and most recently was the Instructional Assistant for the Cabrillo College Ceramics Program. She is an accomplished artist with the passion to design exemplary art, to educate and inspire, and to create spaces that foster innovation for those who enter.
