Event description

Description

ADRIC 2017

A skills development workshop for Alternative Dispute Resolution.

ADRIC 2017 is a learning and networking opportunity for mediators, facilitators and others engaged in group-level conflict resolution and decision-making. Participants will receive experiential training in working with groups through conflict and disputes, drawing upon the principles of Deep Democracy.

ADRIC 2017 is presented by Myrna Lewis, an internationally-acclaimed leading practitioner and trainer in the field of transformative leadership and facilitation, and co-founder of the Lewis Method of Deep Democracy. Developed during post-apartheid South Africa’s transition to democracy, Deep Democracy is particularly suited to facilitating conflict and dispute resolution where relationships and group dynamics are emotionally charged or marked by diversity and difference. The workshop counts towards CPD for lawyers and mediators.
