Description

Parenting a Child with a Painful Past: Fostering Self Care and Wisdom within the Adopting Experience

PARC Regions 2, 3, and 4 are providing a joint adoptive family retreat that will be facilitated by Pamela Wolz, LMSW. Pamela will provide training that will focus on self-care and developmental trauma. You will also be encouraged to take advantage of the relaxing recreation offered at Maranatha. The goal is to create a rich learning environment and for you to leave feeling renewed, refreshed and affirmed in your role as adoptive parents. In order to make this a full respite experience, there will be no children allowed on site.
