Event Details

Thinking of adopting someday? This presentation is for you! Learn about the legal process of family building through adoption.

Join Clifford L. Greenberg, Adoption Attorney from Greenberg Adoption and Mason Patenaude, Host Home Specialist from Ali Forney Center for a presentation on adoption and host home.

Clifford Greenberg is committed to helping clients adopt the children they love. Greenberg is also a published children's book author who uses his legal and writing skills to support his clients' civil rights. He recently wrote Living the Dream with Mommy and Mama, a book celebrating the loving relationship between a same-sex couple and their daughter and Freedom For Us All, a story about the battle for same-sex marriage.

The Host Home Program (HHP) of Ali Forney Center is an innovative housing model providing an alternative to the shelter system for LGBTQ homeless youth. This program connects youth with community members who volunteer to host the youth in their home and offer a private bedroom for the youth for a minimum of 6 months. HHP offers a community response to a community problem by building crucial connections between hosts and youth.
