About this event

We look forward to welcoming you to The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art!

Reserve admission tickets to secure a spot, as visitor capacity is reduced. Walk-ups not guaranteed.

Online reservations can be made for a specific day and arrival time block. We ask that visitors arrive during the time block listed on their reservation so we can manage the number of people in the building at a given time. Visitors are welcome to stay as long as they like during public hours! On average, a visit to The Carle lasts 1.5 – 2 hours.

We require masks for guests ages 5 and up, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are encouraged for children ages 2-4.

We care about your health and safety. We have capacity limits in place throughout the Museum to create the space necessary for you to maintain a 6-foot distance. Children must stay with their adult(s) at all times. By reserving admission tickets, you agree to follow The Carle's healthy and safety guidelines during your visit.

Those exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or who have recently been exposed should not visit the Museum.

Visit our website for more information.

Please note:

- If the Carle Bookshop is at capacity, visitors can wait in a socially distanced line until they are able to enter.

- To make art in the Art Studio, reserve a timed ticket when you arrive at the Admissions Desk. A visit to the Art Studio is not guaranteed, as capacity/ticket availability is limited.
