Difficult Conversations: How to Discuss What Matters Most

Whether sharing information, providing corrective action or talking with a colleague about an uncomfortable issue, difficult conversations often take a large mental and emotional toll on everyone involved. Having difficult conversations can be one of the most stressful and uncomfortable aspects of our lives and work. The ability to handle difficult conversations respectfully and professionally is also an essential skill. This workshop will review the key elements of preparing for, facilitating and managing difficult conversations. Participants will leave with strategies to help ensure that difficult conversations are productive, professional and respectful.
