Event Details

Join the ADL Women's Initiative Leadership Council for a Breakfast at the Houston Junior League for a forum on gender equality in the workplace.  Former Houston Mayor Annise Parker will moderate a panel discussion with Founder and CEO of Pink Petro Katie Mehnert, Capgemini’s North America Corporate Responsibility Director Janet Pope, Nation Waste CEO Maria Rios, and Former EEOC Regional Attorney Jim Sacher.

Panelists will discuss how 54 years after the United States passed the Equal Pay Act, women in the U.S., especially those of color, still face a substantial gender wage gap across the spectrum. The discussion will also focus on what companies can do to promote equality and what women can do to ensure they are treated fairly in the workplace.

A networking café will be at 7:30 a.m. and the program starts at 8 a.m.

Don’t miss out on this important discussion and networking opportunity!
