Description

Invitation to support LGBTQ+ inclusion in Peel

Over the summer of 2017, a number of consultations were held in Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon with members of Peel’s LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans) communities. The consultations identified a number of high-level priorities for LGBTQ+ communities such as visibility, safety and inclusion, and access to health, social services, and employment.

On behalf of Peel’s LGBTQ+ Collaborative, we would like to invite executive directors and/or senior managers of your organization to join us for a free session on, to hear about consultation findings and engage in a deliberate dialogue aimed at identifying actions that can be taken to address the needs of Peel’s LGBTQ+ communities.

Please join us at:
Grand Victorian Convention Centre, Radison Plaza Hotel
175 Derry Rd, Mississauga

This session is limited to 40 participants

Lunch will be provided

Member of Peel LGBTQ+ Collaborative include:
Peel HIV/AIDS Network, Volunteer MBC, Canadian Mental Health Association, Caledon Community Services, WellFort Community Health Services, Family Services of Peel, East Mississauga Community Health Centre, Punjabi Community Health Services and Associated Youth Services of Peel
