Alimony and Child Support
Since they were enacted the new Massachusetts alimony law and the child support guidelines have created many complexities and ambiguities for divorcing couples.
Attorney Anita Robboy will be taking us through the intricacies of the alimony law and Child Support guidelines in Massachusetts. She will also discuss recent court developments and how they affect divorcing people. With this presentation, the participants will learn the major pitfalls of the alimony law and the child support guidelines.
Anita Robboy is a partner at the firm of Prince Lobel Tye LLP. She holds a Masters in Education from Tufts University and a Juris Doctor from Boston University. Attorney Robboy was also a visiting scholar at Cambridge University in England. A well-respected attorney and author, Ms. Robboy has been recognized as a Massachusetts “Super Lawyer” and has written and lectured about various issues related to family law including social security, Alimony Reform Act and the interplay of the Alimony Reform Act and the recently revised Child Support Guidelines.
