Addressing Race & Reproduction: A Conversation on Black Infant and Maternal Mortality In NYC - Town Hall

A recent report published by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene states that the Severe Maternal Mortality among African American women is twelve times higher than our counterparts. African American women are dying at alarming rates during childbirth and following into postpartum. The big question is why? Join us for a community Town Hall and Panel discussion with advocates and experts within maternal and reproductive health to address the underlying issue. What’s killing black women?

Special Guests, Community Leaders, and Policy Makers will be on hand to answer your questions.

Refreshments will be provided.
