This session is for College of Charleston faculty only.
Lectures can be a great way to convey large amounts of information to your students in a short period of time, but this is only true if students are engaged and learning. Interactive lecturing seeks to involve students by allowing them to participate in discussions, engage with the content, and become active in the learning process. In this session, we will discuss the framework for interactive lecture design as well as strategies that you can easily implement to add interactive elements to your lectures.
After this session, you will be able to:
- Explain the differences between traditional and interactive lectures
- Identify strategies for adding interactive elements to existing lectures
- Integrate interactive elements into existing or new lectures
This session is for BEGINNERS.
