ADC Community Interfaith Iftar
Event Information
Description
The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), the nation’s largest grassroots civil rights Arab-American organization, is pleased to invite its members and friends to our Iftar banquet this Ramadan!
This year’s Iftar theme will focus on interfaith connectiveness and will feature prominent leaders from different faiths coming together for an evening of community engagement. We hope you can join us for this timely convening.
This Ramadan’s ADC Iftar will be held on May 31 at the Phoenicia Resto & Lounge in Vienna, VA. Join us as we break bread together, make new friends, explore opportunities, and strengthen the bond of the Arab-American community in the D.C. area.
We are proud to announce that the following speakers will be joining us for the evening to provide a few words:
- Jinan Shbat: Spoken Word Artist
- Rabbi Joseph Berman: Jewish Voices for Peace
- Father Joseph Rahal: St. George Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church
- Dr. Sayyid M. Syeed: Senior Advisor, Islamic Society of North America
Your attendance ticket will also serve as a contribution to ADC during this crucial time as we work to help our community.
Besides our general admission price, there are also options for sponsorship at the Iftar; please contact our National office for more information: organizing@adc.org, or call: 202-244-2990.
This event is open to all! Be sure to invite your friends and family!
