Event description

Description

This is a conference introducing people to the social model of disability, with a speaker from Shape Arts and discussing how Luton can be made more accessible for people who identify as disabled. It is being carried out in conjunction with the Bus Lane Archeology Exhibition in Departure Lounge, across the road from the conference venue https://departure-lounge.org.uk/

It is intended to be a friendly event, sharing the knowledge of people who work in the arts and in the community. It is supported by The Arts Council of England, Luton Borough Council and the Culture Trust.

It is for people who identify as disabled, Artists, Curators, Venues and Event Managers and all those interested in this topic. We are intending to develop information about best practice for Luton.

If you have any special requirements and are intending to come to the event, please email me.
