On Generosity with Adam Grant and Allison Sweet Grant: Generosity is a value that we often preach but struggle to practice. How can we show up for others without sacrificing ourselves? How can we bring more kindness into our homes, schools, and communities? After being asked for years to write a children’s book on giving, organizational psychologist and Wharton top professor Adam Grant and writer Allison Sweet Grant have finally produced it: THE GIFT INSIDE THE BOX. In a fireside chat, Adam and Allison will share why and how they wrote the book—and what they’ve learned from psychology evidence and personal experience about how we can care for others and ourselves, teach that value to kids, and prepare them to lead lives of meaning.

Adam Grant and Allison Sweet Grant will be in conversation with Daniel H. Pink.

Adam Grant is an organizational psychologist at Wharton, and the bestselling author of GIVE AND TAKE and ORIGINALS. He is considered a leading expert on how we can find motivation and meaning, and live more generous and creative lives. Allison Sweet Grant is a psychiatric nurse practitioner and writer. Together, they're parents to three children.

Daniel H. Pink is the author of six provocative books including his newest, WHEN: THE SCIENTIFIC SECRETS OF PERFECT TIMING. His other books include the bestselling and award-winning A WHOLE NEW MIND, DRIVE and TO SELL IS HUMAN. He lives in Washington, DC with his family.

This is a ticketed event for adults; tickets include a copy of children's picture book The Gift Inside the Box to share with family.
