About this Event

This is an interactive workshop for those dealing with cancer, their loved ones and caregivers, and health care practitioners. Acupressure can alleviate many symptoms associated with cancer treatment including nausea, fatigue, pain and anxiety. Join us for this workshop to learn the technique of acupressure that you can easily and safely apply to yourself or others.

Instructor: Agnes Nowakowski L.Ac, DACM

Agnes has advanced oncology training from MD Anderson Cancer Center Integrative Medicine program and Memorial Sloan Kettering Fundamentals of Oncology Acupuncture. She holds a BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences and Microbiology. Agnes integrates functional medicine into her treatments. Agnes is an active member of the Society of Acupuncture Research, and Society of Integrative Oncology. She regularly attends workshops and conferences on incorporating acupuncture into oncology care.
