Event description

Description

TRUST is a vital ingredient in most human relationships. It is indispensable in an intimate relationship. Such relationships cannot be built on 'mistrust'. Trust is a complex phenomenon. Trust building is a process not an act: We build the path of trust by walking on it. The choice to trust does not carry any guarantees, certainties or warranties.

This Workshop will:

  • elucidate and expand the above concepts
  • explore the meaning of trust and situations where trust is betrayed
  • examine the pre-requisites for the development of mature trust
  • demonstrate relevant therapeutic skills for rebuilding trust

It is open to:

Counsellors, Relationship Educators and all confronting 'trust issues' in relationships
