Join us as we create a framework for active transportation project delivery in the Atlanta region!
As part of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan update, this Forum will be an opportunity for regional experts (that’s you!) to gather and discuss opportunities and needs related to active transportation project delivery. We need you to help shape the priorities and outcomes for this plan. At the Forum, you’ll learn about national trends related to public-private partnerships and innovation in funding strategies for active transportation projects, share success stories that work in your community, and build on the work already done by the ARC Project Delivery Task Force. The goal is to develop a framework to fund and deliver active transportation projects more quickly and effectively with consistent and creative project delivery strategies.
The keynote speaker is Jeff Olson, a national walking and biking expert who has been involved in greenways, open space, active living and mobility projects for more than 25 years.
