Event description

Description

How do we prevent the next threat or active assailant in a school? What will happen? How do we respond?

Parents, please join us on Saturday, September 21st at 10:00am at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall for the "Active Threats: Prevention and Response for Parents" seminar hosted by the Lee County Sheriff's Office and the Lee County School District.

This three segment seminar will educate parents about:

  • the Governor mandated changes for active shooter training in schools and what types of excercises students and staff are being exposed to;

  • a panel discussion to address often asked questions pertaining to active threats in schools.

This seminar is free; however, a ticket is required for entry. Doors open at 9:00am.

Register today as seating is limited.
