The HPD Community Initiative Active Shooter division will be providing Active Shooter Training and open discussions. We are hoping to be able to aid with writing an active shooter plan, updating your current Occupancy Emergency Plans with additional active shooter details that can assist your staff and also effectively train “us” on how to handle these situations. The HPD Community Initiative has produced and provided Active Shooter training to different agencies and departments throughout the country. This training is free to all members and guests. In order to assure that enough room is available, we ask that you register in advance. This training will take place at the United Way of Greater Houston, 50 Waugh Dr. (our normal meeting location).
