Sadly, Active Shooter situations occur throughout the U.S. too often. These attacks are catastrophic and have effected workplaces, schools, and public spaces. It is up to us to be prepared.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office and HR by Karen are partnering for an Active Shooter and Situational Awareness Training with Lt. Thad Rhodes to help:

• Understand the law enforcement response to violence in the workplace.
• Empower individuals to know what to do in threatening situations.
• Be aware of the resources available to help mitigate the trauma.

HR by Karen encourages individuals and businesses to attend this informational training for a minimum $10 donation per person to support Collier Community Foundation's Crisis & Disaster Relief Initiative.
