Description

No one wants to think about being involved in an active shooter event but with these situations increasing across the nation, it’s important to be prepared for the worst.

The Barron County Sheriff's Department, Office of Emergency Management will be hosting a no-cost "Active Shooter Preparedness" class for local community members. This 90-minute training explains what to do if you find yourself in an active shooter event and teaches principles that can be used at work, at home, or anywhere in the community.

The training class will be held on Thursday, July 25th (from 6:00pm to 7:30pm) at the Barron County Government Center Auditorium, 335 E Monroe Ave, Barron, WI, 54812
