Class: Actin' Up Improv
Class Description: Acting and improv fuels our creativity and encourages us to expect the unexpected. In this all-levels course we will explore our relationship with ourselves and others through theater games and lots of wacky challenges. Let’s break the rules and act up!
What We'll Discover Together: honoring the body through creative movement, exploring voice and sound, imaginative play, scene building and partner work, and other basic acting skills.
Dates: Fridays - 11/18, 11/25, 12/2, 12/9, 12/16

Taylor-Nicole (She/They) is a Black Queer teaching artist and Griot (storyterller), born and raised in Detroit, MI. Their mediums include performing arts (improv, singing, dance, African drumming) and mixed media visual arts. They're currently a theater teaching artist at Seattle Children's Theater and African Drum music teacher through Arts Corps. Outside of the classroom Taylor enjoys snuggling with her kitties Kiki and Babydoll, longboarding, spooky movies, and crafting!
