Description
Each year, supporters of reproductive health and justice in Georgia come together in support of Planned Parenthood Southeast Advocates (PPSEA), the 501 (c)4 political arm of Planned Parenthood. Formerly known as the Planned Parenthood Action Fund of Georgia, PPSEA was formed in 2011 to expand Planned Parenthood’s capacity to reach pro-woman voters in Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. This annual event is PPSEA’s primary fundraiser, and proceeds help educate supporters about reproductive health issues and increase the number of voters at the polls in each election year.
This year, we are proud to welcome Benjamin Jealous, Board Member of the NAACP National Voter Fund, as our guest speaker. As the voter education and mobilization arm of the NAACP, the National Voter Fund continues the organization's groundbreaking work in the fight for social justice. In addition to its efforts to end racial segregation, the NAACP through its National Voter Fund, mobilizes thousands of dedicated organizers, leaders and members to eliminate racial disparities at the ballot box.
Join us on October 3rd to hear how the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization is mobilizing African American voters. Find out how you can support Planned Parenthood Southeast Advocates' mission to organize and empower pro-woman voters to protect reproductive rights in Georgia. Come, be inspired, and get ready to act up for women’s health!
Please note that donations to Planned Parenthood Southeast Advocates are not tax deductible as they may be used for political purposes, including supporting or opposing candidates.
