The conference will be instructed by 20-year literary vet, Joylynn M. Ross, aka "The Literary-Know-It-All." Given the name because Joylynn wants authors to know it all when it comes to their literary careers.

Joylynn formed her own publishing company in 2000, where she self-published her books until landing a book deal with St. Martin's Press. Over 20 years later, Joylynn has been the content development editor for Triple Crown Publications; she was the acquisitions and developmental editor for Carl Weber’s Urban Christian imprint for 10 years; she’s agented authors who have book deals with Simon & Schuster, Kensington, and Urban Books; and Joylynn has done ghostwriting, write-behinds, and literary consulting (both freelance and for publishing houses). Her clients have included New York Times Bestselling authors, entertainers, aspiring authors, veteran authors, as well as first-time authors. Some notable literary consulting clients include actor Christian Keyes, singer Olivia Longott, and reality television star, Shereé M. Whitfield of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

In addition to instructing one-on-one and group in-person and live online courses, Joylynn is excited and eager to teach the curriculum at the 2019 Path To Publishing Conference that she claims will help authors and writers, “Get their literary life . . . or resuscitate it.”

Day One of the conference is all about building your book: publishing like a pro! Presenters: Unlike the 2018 conference, the 2019 conference will have breakout sessions geared for the returning first-year attendees. Attendees have requested that they be educated more in-depth on certain subject matters that were taught in the general sessions. Some of those sessions include how to structure your writing business, how to build a high-performance team, protecting your intellectual property, writing your way to success, and more!

The conference advisory board decided for the 2018 conference and all future conferences that speakers, instructors, and presenters would be chosen among those who are registered for the conference, as well as representatives from the companies who will be exhibiting or sponsoring the conference.

Our decision was based on the fact that some of the attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors provide services, workshops, workbooks, and business books and tools that will benefit their peers at the conference. A great deal of those registering for the conference (although some were aspiring and new writers), were already excelling, but understands we are part of an ever-changing industry where there is always something more to learn; something that would allow them to level-up and grow-up their business. We found that many were experts in certain areas, and that it only made sense for them to share their expertise with other conference attendees on a platform outside of typical conference networking and conversation. They were already vested and committed to the Path To Publishing mission, so it made sense to fish within the talented pool of registered attendees.

What's the refund policy?

If attendee pays in full for their registration, but for unforeseen reasons is unable to attend the conference, no refunds or gift cards will be dispersed, but the course materials for the day(s) attendee registered for will be mailed to attendee at Path To Publishing’s expense.

Please bring any proof of registration/payment and present it at the conference registration table.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
