Description

Course Description:

Is the stone age of dentistry finally dead? Has digital dentistry finally moved to the point that we can actually do things more accurately, efficiently, and predictably? For those of us who want to perform cosmetic procedures, advanced restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, and our bread and butter general dental procedures at the highest levels, how can the evolution of digital workflows help?

In the this one day workshop, Dr. John Cranham will show how the timeless principles of Dawson Occlusal Design, combined with contemporary smile design, can be visualized on virtual instrumentation. You will learn how to scan in centric relation, mount on a virtual articulator in minutes, and how to work with a lab (or do it yourself) to virtually wax-up even the most complicated case. You will leave with a greater understanding of how these digital workflows are a must for any practitioner desiring to maximize the predictability, efficiency, and profitability of their current practice.

Instructor:

Dr. John Cranham

Dr. Cranham is the Clinical Director of The Dawson Academy where he is involved with many of the lecture and hands-on courses within curriculum. Additionally, Dr. Cranham founded Cranham Dental Seminars which in February of 2008 merged with the Dawson Academy. As an active educator, he has provided over 650 days of continuing education for dental professionals throughout the world.

•Learn how we are rapidly evolving past 2D digital smile design
•Understand why Dr. Cranham has put his articulators in the closet and has fully embraced digital occlusal design and 3D digital smile design into his practice
•Discover how to evaluate at scanners, printers, CBCTs and other Digital instrumentation and know which is right for your practice and when you should become involved
•Gain the skills for the best way to communicate contours precisely to the lab to consistently receive beautiful, functionallycorrect, restorations every time
•Learn why being clear on precise biologic, esthetic, and occlusal principles and goals is more important then ever before
•Study the best option to plan and execute an implant case: from single teeth to all-on five/six cases
