Acrylic Textures with Chris Cozen

All levels are welcome. Explore the many possibilities available to you when you utilize various acrylic pastes and gels to create and manipulate a variety of textures. Acrylic textures can be used on a variety of surfaces. This class will inform you as to their qualities and behaviors of these versatile products. You will have ample time to utilize heavy body paints, gels, and various other mediums during this one-day class! Bring your creativity and a few failed smaller canvases to use.

Materials list:

An old rag, an apron, a clean sponge and an old food container, plastic gloves, cardboard pieces.

Whatever acrylic pastes or gels you may have at home

New canvas, canvas board, paper or old paintings under 24”x24” and smaller failed canvases in search of a makeover.

Sturdy palette knife or small spackle blade.

Chris will bring everything else you might need.
