This is the second of eight chapters of our Education Series on building and managing a comprehensive BCP Plan. The series will culminate in a complete table top exercise where you will be placed in groups, given a real world disaster scenario and be asked to demonstrate, based on the lessons learned from the previous 7 Chapters, how best to mitigate the risk of that particular disaster example.

The Long Island NY Chapter of the Association of Contingency Planners was created May 2009. Our mission as the premier organization for Contingency Planners, Business Continuity Professionals and Emergency Managers, is to provide a forum to foster, advance and master the practice of business continuity through education, information exchange and professional relationships.
ACP-LI provides its members with an excellent information exchange experience as well as opportunities to help set trends in the emergency response and disaster recovery fields.
