Haas Career Management Zoom Workshop

(Our registered participants will need to connect to the zoom meeting provided on their Eventbrite e-tickets (under "Go to online event page"). Please directly to zoom meeting. Kindly test your voice/video ahead of the workshop. )

Topics covered:

-Positioning your Linkedin profile

-Using Linkedin as a networking tool

-Networking strategies internally (at your current company) and externally

This will be a highly interactive session, including small group break-outs where you'll have the chance to get input from fellow Haasies. Please come ready to turn your camera on in the breakouts and ready to share your LinkedIn profile and get feedback. Additionally, give some thought in advance to your specific networking goals and challenges

Our Haas Career Management Facilitator's Bios:

Lara Klein is a Career Coach with the Haas Career Management Group, supporting Haas Alumni and EWMBA students in making their next career move, whether it’s advancing to a higher level role or making a career pivot. For over 10 years, Lara has coached experienced professionals in finding meaningful work in a variety of industries including consulting, finance, tech, energy, and healthcare. Prior to becoming a Career Coach, Lara spent over 15 years in HR and recruiting in the corporate world (tech and entertainment industries). She has a B.A. in Psychology from U.C. Berkeley and an MBA from San Diego State University. She is a graduate of Accomplishment Coaching, an accredited coaching program in New York

Linda Yach is a Career Coach who serves the EW, EMBA, and Haas alumni populations, helping them identify and transition into roles that energize them. Since 2009, she has coached individuals in a variety of industries and functions, including tech and Fortune 500 companies. She also currently runs her own small coaching business, and consults with SNP Communications, a leadership communications company, where she helps individuals deepen their management, interpersonal, and leadership skills. She holds a B.A. in Spanish from The University of St. Thomas and a coaching certificate from The Co-Active Training Institute. Having walked the path of a career switcher herself, she is motivated to help others do the same by bringing a blend of possibility, strategy, and lightheartedness into her coaching approach.
