ServiceNow and Tricorp, Inc., presents an ITSM workshop that will describe the features and capabilities of an enterprise implementation encompassing the entire ServiceNow ITSM suite of products. Our ITSM Subject Matter Experts will provide a generic ITSM approach and sample project plan to achieve a successful implementation.

 

The program will highlight the following capabilities and what preparation is needed to implement the ServiceNow ITSM suite.  The goal of the workshop is to help participants avoid implementation pitfalls by following a proven approach to success.  We will cover the following topics/objectives as well demonstrate how this suite of services fits into the larger DevOps environment: 

 

  • OBTAINING EXECUTIVE COMMITMENT
  • ESTIMATED LEVEL OF EFFORT & RESOURCES
  • SERVICE CATALOG
  • CHANGE AND RELEASE MANAGEMENT
  • ASSET AND CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT
  • INCIDENT MANAGEMENT (Help Desk)
  • PROBLEM MANAGEMENT

 

Who should attend:  This workshop is intended to provide an executive briefing for technical executives (i.e. CIOs, Deputy CIOs, and Directors) wishing to migrate to or implement a robust, cloud-based enterprise ITSM solution.This workshop is for Government officials who would like more information regarding a typical ITSM implementation.This workshop will highlight an enterprise approach to ITSM implementation and explore capabilities on several modules.  We will be holding additional workshops for specific ITSM Service Modules throughout 2017. Speakers BIO:

Toiya Vernon-Watson:  Leading ITSM Subject Matter Expert with extensive experience managing ITSM implementations to include process, tool implementation and team management.  Toiya directs Tricorp's ITSM and DevOps consulting services to include development, engineering, implementation, integration and enhancement of enterprise management tools.  Toiya's ability to simplify complex problems enable her customers to create meaningful organizational change that enhances a client’s operations for large-scale customer environments. She possesses a deep knowledge of major industry tools that help facilitate the ITSM/ITIL implementation processes. 

 

Toiya possesses 15 years of experience leading teams to maximize the use of technology and to help realign enterprise processes to achieve workflow efficiency and enhanced communication among stakeholders.  She has in depth experience with core functions within the DevOps and ITSM processes.   Toiya oversees ITSM architecture, design, configuration services, and training.  She is a graduate of Cornell University and possesses an MBA, and CICM and ITIL designations.  

 

Tahera Zamanzada:  Tahera Zamanzada is a Federal Solution Consultant at ServiceNow. With a service-orientation toward the activities, tasks and processes that make up day-to-day work life, Tahera, along with her colleagues help demonstrate how modern enterprise can operate faster and be more scalable than ever before. Customers use ServiceNow’s service model to define, structure and automate the flow of work, removing dependencies on email and spreadsheets to transform the delivery and management of services for the enterprise. ServiceNow provides service management for every department in the enterprise including IT, human resources, facilities, field service and more. Tahera’s background is in project management and she is ITIL and Scrum Certified.

 

Coffee and water will be available.  Participants may bring a brown bag lunch or purchase lunch for a contribution of $5.00. 

 

Parking: Available in the Stratford lot and parking garage.  Overflow parking is available in the Springhill Suites lot next door. 

 

Directions: 

Stratford University campus is easily accessed from I-95, I-495 and Telegraph Road. Stratford is located on Eisenhower Avenue minutes away from the Woodrow Wilson bridge. The campus is a short walk from the Alexandria Tech Center/Eisenhower DASH bus stop and minutes from the Eisenhower Ave Metro station on the Yellow Line.
