This 4-hour in-depth training unveils the profound effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). You will learn about the effects of traumatic experiences in childhood and how they correlate to negative effects on health and well-being later in life. Not only will you have the opportunity to understand the effects of adversity, but you will be equipped to makes changes in our community by preventing ACEs in future generations.

This First 5 Shasta training will be presented by Wendy Dickens, Executive Director, First 5 Shasta and Co-chair of Shasta Strengthening Families Collaborative, Jackie Scott, First 5 Shasta, QRIS Hub Training & Technical Assistance Manager, and Susan Wilson, Executive Director, Youth Violence Prevention Coordinating Council and Chair of Shasta Strengthening Families Collaborative.
